After kicking off February with the Grammy Awards, Crypto.com Arena will welcome Tool to its stage later in the month. Read on for everything you need to know about attending the show.
The Basics
Tool will perform at Crypto.com Arena on Feb. 14 and 15. With doors opening at 6 p.m. and the show starting at 7:30 p.m., Massachusetts-native band Elder will open the night.
Bag Policy
Unless you go for a small clutch or wallet smaller than 5” x 9” x 1,” leave your bag at home. Crypto.com Arena has banned bringing in backpacks, purses, totes, clear fanny packs, and camera bags. And yes, even clear bags are not allowed. What’s more, it is a cashless venue and requires mobile tickets for entry.
Arrival
Don’t forget to add your concert tickets to your mobile wallet from the Ticketmaster app before leaving home. Then, if you decide to drive, make a plan for where to park. There are a number of surface-level lots surrounding the arena, in addition to L.A. Live’s official park garage just across the street. Just be sure to give yourself plenty of time for traffic and finding a spot; the area can get congested when large crowds come to the downtown area.
Where to Eat
Crypto.com Arena has a hearty lineup of food options including Blaze Pizza, Golden Brew Road House and Wahoo’s Fish Tacos. However, it’s a great idea to extend pre-concert festivities with a pre-show dinner. Downtown L.A. has some of the best restaurants in town and the venue is just a stone’s throw from a memorable meal. Read our full list of suggested restaurants.
What to Expect
Tool kicked off their 2024 winter tour earlier in January and have regularly hit the stage by 8:30 p.m., sometimes by 8:20 p.m. So far, their setlists have featured 11 songs like “Fear Inoculum,” “Intolerance” and “Invisible,” with the occasional change like at the Jan. 24 show in Atlanta that began the night with “Third Eye.”
Crypto.com arena is located at 1111 S. Figueroa St. 90015.
