Maybe you know Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave from her three seasons on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Maybe you know her from her countless appearances on game shows and podcasts as a television personality. Regardless of how she’s known, Arroyave is a true influencer in the luxury sphere, a responsibility she does not take lightly; even if it comes to showing off her own home.

Arroyave showed off her family’s gorgeous property for Open House TV recently, giving viewers an inside look at her family home in Encino, California. With in-depth looks at the patio and swimming pool area, spacious white kitchen and dining room, as well as countless amenities like the in-house entertainment theater, Arroyave covers all the bases in this home taken straight from a Los Angeles daydream.
“I love it here… you feel like you’re on vacation,” Arroyave says as she glides through the primary bedroom, complete with a large walk-in closet and home office space. “We’ve now chosen something that was family-friendly… with our kids being home, we needed a change, and we are so grateful for it.”
According to Yahoo! News, Arroyave first purchased the home with her husband Edwin Arroyave – CEO of Skyline Security – in September 2020 for a pretty $6.5 million. The 8,550-square-foot farmhouse features plenty of space, including seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a two-island chef’s kitchen stocked to the brim with amenities – although Arroyave admits she does not use it properly in the video.
“This is our amazing kitchen! So cool… it would be even cooler if I cooked!” Arroyave exclaims. “It’s such an open area, we’re able to see everything! If I’m in here cooking – a.k.a. heating something up – then I can look out and see my entire family.”
As mentioned, Arroyave’s family and children seem to be of utmost importance in the home layout, as she takes the camera through areas that herself and her loved ones frequent. In addition to the kitchen, Arroyave highlights the stunning theater where her family binge-watches television, as well as the living room. The pinnacle of the tour, however, is the opulent patio and swimming pool area, complete with sports court, spa, entertainment options and more.
“This is the true reason we bought this house,” Arroyave says in the video. “This is one big open space, and we’ve got foosball, we’ve got a swimming pool. We also have this little baja shelf right here with the chairs, which is great for mommies who lounge, we can sit here, watch our kids play… it’s a win-win, no matter which way you look at it.”
Despite being “family-friendly,” there’s still plenty of luxury on display for Arroyave’s adult guests. The whole property is cased in white finish – from the marble itself to the furniture inside – and plenty of amenities take up the open space, including a stunning chandelier visible upon entry and walk-up bar stocked with fancy liquors. In addition, Arroyave shows off a secret balcony that she calls the one space that’s “adults only,” complete with firepit and high-seated table.
“Show me your ID to get in,” Arroyave jokes. “It really just makes you feel like you’re stepping out of your home.”
While it’s unknown where Arroyave will take her talents next, plenty of folks will be watching her self-promoted content. A friend of Open House TV, Arroyave teases that more is in the works for the next time the show comes knocking.
