Think music festival season is over? Think again. From San Bernardino to San Diego, weekends across Southern California will continue to be ripe with good music, good vibes and good sunshine. Whether you’re looking for beachside tunes or a desert escape, read on for nine festivals you can still attend this year.

Beach Life Ranch

Redondo Beach/Website

Over the course of three days and three stages, expect to hear the likes of Wilco, The Lumineers, Dierks Bentley, Waylon Jennis and Daryl Hall and John Oates and Brandi Carlile, among others. This festival celebrates the cowboy surfer way of life, allowing you to relish in beach culture while enjoying the community of Americana music. Of note, veterans get 50 percent off and kids 10 and under are free. Runs Sept. 16-18.

Missed out on the spring event? Not to worry because CRSSD returns to downtown San Diego’s Waterfront Park for a weekend full of electronic music. Surrounded by an urban oasis and SoCal’s quintessential early fall sun, take in tunes by Duck Sauce, Jamie xx, Fatboy Slim, Artbat, Chloé Robinson and more. Runs Sept. 24-25.

The Goldenvoice festival has curated a lineup that melds the music of LCD Soundsystem, Le Tigre, The Strokes with Phoebe Bridgers, Turnstile, Tinashe, Wet Leg, Mac Demarco and more for one fantastic weekend. Attendees can also expect photo opps and brand activations, like The Redemption Rye Revival Bar, which will have live performers, a bar, photo opps and other surprises. Runs Aug. 27-28.
