Creativity, passion and collaboration inspire Gosia and Jakub Staron in their marriage and at J.D. Staron, their luxury rug firm that employs the best artisans and weavers to achieve superior pieces for their discerning, global design clientele.

By combining their unique skills, this innovative couple has achieved great success. “I believe in Jakub’s talent and passion with product design, marketing trends and his uncanny ability to be on the forefront of design,” Gosia says. “Jakub respects my direction, business instincts and ability to be a buffer enough to take my advice.” Jakub adds, “I travel a lot, leaving Gosia to take care of the business, the house and our two daughter. She is a rock who gives me the space to travel, explore and be inspired.”

The solid foundation that Gosia and Jakub have built over the last 23 years allows them to take a visionary approach to J.D. Staron’s future. “We are preparing the company for another big jump in growth in 2019,” Jakub shares. “We are in the midst of starting a new distribution company for broadloom carpets, we’re introducing amazing new rug collections in our showrooms and unveiled a revolutionary fabric line in January.” “Our professional goal is to make the market more aware of what we do and what we have to offer,” Gosia states. “Personally, we will spend more time together as a family and as a couple.”

Areas of Specialty

JAKUB STARON: I can make up stories, but at the end of the day it boils down to talent, education, experience and, most of all, passion.

GOSIA STARON: You have to love what you do, otherwise you’ll never be good at it.
