“Clap along if you know what happiness is to you!” If skateboarding makes you happy, we have some amazing news for you.
Icecream, the skate-inspired streetwear fashion brand founded by Pharrell Williams, has announced an exciting limited-edition collaboration with Crenshaw Skate Club, a youthful up-and-coming skate brand that highlights and supports skaters of colors that was founded by 19-year-old Tobias McIntosh. The collection launches on Oct. 15 and ranges $40 to $130.
Icecream and Crenshaw Skate Club have similar missions: creating a more inclusive skateboarding community. By emphasizing skateboarders’ love for skating and streetwear fashion, the brands hope that people of color within the skateboarding community are supported. Furthermore, Icecream aims to uplift further smaller skate brands that align with its values through the partnership.

The Icecream x Crenshaw Skate Club limited edition capsule will include four items inspired by McIntosh’s skater friends. The collection consists of a hoodie, trucker hat, skate deck and t-shirt— staple pieces in any streetwear fashion brand.
McIntosh was the mastermind behind the eccentric and spirited designs of the collection. He took inspiration from his everyday life and the skateboarding community in his city. The collaboration will be exclusively released on the Billionaire Boys Club website, which was also founded by Williams and emphasizes the coming together of skaters and their favorite brands.
Icecream and Crenshaw Skate Club will celebrate the exciting partnership by hosting a skatepark tour in Los Angeles. The three-park tour will include the Westchester Skate Plaza, Charmette Bonpua Skate Plaza and Jackie Tatum Skate Park. An Icecream x Crenshaw Skate Club truck will be visiting the parks and giving away free t-shirts and stickers while supplies last. The Oct. 15 event will usher in the release of the limited-edition collaboration. Come for the freebies, but stay for the skating.
