The glamor and sophistication of the Academy Awards makes the ceremony an unparalleled event across the entertainment industry, setting a high standard for the infamous red carpet that rolls out along Hollywood Boulevard. Back at the Dolby Theatre, stars brought their A-game to the pre-ceremony step and repeat, so we’ve rounded up the very best dressed to look back on the night’s greatest fashion.
Red may have been the true winner of the night and perhaps no one proved it better than CODA star Amy Forsyth. The Canadian actress donned a scarlet Marchesa gown pulled together by two flowers.
The Oscars may be the movie’s biggest night of the year, but the women of music proved the red carpet was their domain. Look no further than Beyoncé. The first-time Oscar nominee went all in on paying homage to King Richard and wore a tennis-ball-yellow dress with matching gloves and a sparkling tennis ball purse.
When it comes to suits, the primary question is always how does one elevate a classic look? The Dune star answered with the removal of a shirt and an extra sparkly blazer with lace-trimmed sleeves.

Ahead of a knockout performance, Megan Thee Stallion stunned on the red carpet in a delicately beaded blue gown with an architectural train, thigh-high slit and gorgeous diamond jewelry.
A proper showman knows how to wow on screen and in real life, and Andrew Garfield did just that. The Oscar nominee wore a deep burgundy, velvet blazer and a relaxed bow tie with a classic black pant and loafers.
Another starlet proving the power of red, Tracee Ellis Ross wowed in a strapless Carolina Herrera gown. She paired the uniquely shaped dress with jewelry from Niwaka and Louboutin shoes.
With accents of Cartier jewelry, The Power of the Dog actor stood out in a head-to-toe powder blue ensemble by Bottega Veneta. Kodi Smit-McPhee may not have nabbed the Best Supporting Actor, but we think he was a true winner on the red carpet.
