Last year, Noah Kahan played to nearly 6,000 people at The Greek Theatre. This June, he levels up with multiple sold-out concerts at the 17,500-capacity Hollywood Bowl. Read on for everything you need to know about attending the shows.
Noah Kahan will bring his We’ll Be Here Forever North America Tour to Los Angeles on June 20 and 21, which he kicked off in Canada in March and will continue through July with performances on the East Coast. Gates will open at the Hollywood Bowl at 6:30 p.m. with performances beginning at 6:30 p.m. Be sure to get there early to catch opener John Vincent III’s set.
If you’ve been to the Bowl, you know that parking is pretty limited. In fact, two lots were recently shifted into transportation hubs, so it now offers even fewer spaces than in the past. So, if you plan to drive, you’ll want to secure a parking pass as soon as possible. Whatever your method, the Hollywood Bowl recommends arriving 90 minutes before the show starts. You can choose to take the Metro B Line to the Hollywood/Highland Metro Station and then hop on the free Bowl shuttle at Ovation Hollywood. Or, if you take a rideshare service, map your driver to Lot C at 6655 Odin St.
You don’t need a clear bag for the Hollywood Bowl! Just be sure that whatever you bring, it it no larger than 15” x 15” x 22.” Additionally, while you can bring in snacks and beverages for an amphitheater picnic, outside alcohol is not allowed at this show.
As mentioned, you can bring your own food in if you want to load up on a feast from Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods or Erewhon. This can be eaten at your seats or at a picnic bench, which can be found inside the venue grounds or littered around just outside the ampitheater. However, the Hollywood Bowl also has some pretty great eateries thanks to L.A. restaurant icons Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne, who helm the Bowl food and beverage program. You can grab a bottle of wine from Ann’s Wine Bar or have an onsite sit-down dinner at farmers market-driven The Backyard. Alternatively, there are some great restaurants in the neighborhood like Shirley Brasserie and Lemon Grove if you have time for dinner on your way to the show. See our full list of nearby recommended restaurants.
Kahan should hit the stage sometime between 9 and 9:30 p.m. for a set that runs about two hours. Of course, you can get excited about hearing “Stick Season” live, but you may even get to hear an unreleased song and other tracks from his most recent album including “Northern Attitude,” “She Calls Me Back” and “Homesick.” The Vermont native singer-songwriter has earned a reputation for putting on an intimately magical show even from some of the country’s biggest stages, so concertgoers are in for a special night.
The Hollywood Bowl is located at 2301 N Highland Ave 90068
