HIDEAWAY AT CRYPTO.COM ARENA Changes at Downtown L.A.’s premier arena have caused quite the buzz, but it really could all be due to Hideaway. The VIP multimillion-dollar luxury suite recently opened inside Crypto.com Arena, bringing its lucky guests a next-level hospitality experience and panoramic views of the Lakers throwing down or favorite pop stars taking the stage. As the most expensive custom suite ever built (courtesy of Barrett Building Company and Anthony W Design), Hideaway sprawls across 660 square feet and features custom Gucci wallpaper, a fireplace, a DJ booth, a claw machine, the Zoltar fortune teller game and a state-of-the-art sound system. granted.co/hideaway
SUNSET AT THE WEST HOLLYWOOD EDITION The modern clubhouse located below The West Hollywood EDITION first exploded along the Sunset Strip back in 2019. Evoking the glamorous hedonism of Studio 54, the exclusive venue from creative director Ian Schrager quickly became a celebrity hot spot and attracted the likes of Paris Hilton, Lucky Blue Smith, Tracee Ellis Ross, Billie Idol and Winnie Harlow. In action once again as of February 2022, guests can dance the night away under the impressive 400-disco ball art installation by Ian Schrager Company. In contrast to the main space’s discotheque vibrance, the Sunset Room offers privacy and is reminiscent of British 19th century private clubs. editionhotels.com

THE TERRACE AT THE GRAMMY MUSEUM Earlier this year, the GRAMMY Museum grew by 13,000 square feet, bringing with it an expanded physical and digital footprint. A unique venue for the museum’s education, community engagement and public programs, the newly renovated rooftop Terrace features 180-degree views, the Mike Curb Café and the intimate, state-of-the-art Steve & LeAnne Schwartz VIP lounge. What’s more, the Terrace is set to become one of the most highly coveted downtown spaces for its availability to the public as a venue for weddings, dinners and more. grammymuseum.org

71 STUDIO BAR AT GRANDMASTER RECORDERS The hottest new restaurant in the Vinyl District also happens to be home to Hollywood’s coolest bar. Situated within the walls of a former recording studio, Grandmaster Recorders’ 71 Studio Bar buzzes from L.A.’s storied history as music’s greatest city. The cocktail bar and lounge also acts as a live music venue that embraces the past, present and future of the industry—all from a concrete studio bunker. grandmasterrecorders.com
