Why have one new restaurant when you can have three?
Estimated for late 2024, Century Plaza will welcome three new dining establishments as part of its broader vision to become one of the city’s finest lifestyle destinations. It will join Lumière, the French-inspired American brasserie at the Fairmont Century Plaza, the recently rebranded Park Elm residential towers and 100,000 square feet of retail space.
The restaurant slate features three acclaimed institutions from around the globe: Estiatorio Milos, KYU and Sushi Noz. "With the first California locations of Milos, KYU, and Sushi Noz, we are crafting distinctive experiences unique to Century Plaza,” said David Reuben Jr. of the Reuben Brothers, who acquired Century Plaza earlier this year.
“These restaurants have dedicated global followings, and their arrival at Century Plaza sets an extraordinary standard for what's to follow. Residents, visitors and the community can expect unforgettable dining experiences amidst Century Plaza’s landscaped gardens and alluring open-air plazas.”
With locations in Montreal, Athens, London, Las Vegas, New York, Miami, Los Cabos, Dubai, and Milos at Sea, Estiatorio Milos will make its California debut along Constellation Avenue. A Greek seafood concept, it will be led by chef Costas Spiliadis, who looks forward to being in proximity of California’s bounty. “The simple, healthy, and straightforward Greek Cuisine could not find a better home away from the Greek islands,” he said. “The spectacular space at the Century Plaza will be transformed into a true temple for showcasing the best gifts of the land and the sea in which Californians and people of the world will experience the true food of the Mediterranean.”
Meanwhile, KYU will serve Asian-inspired, wood-fired cuisine in a space directly across from the Fairmont Century Plaza’s open-air lobby that overlooks its central fountain. The celebrity-attracting concept also has outposts in Miami, Las Vegas, New York City and Mexico City.
And not only will Los Angeles be Sushi Noz’s first West Coast location, but it marks its first restaurant outside of New York City. The edomae-style sushi restaurant recently earned two Michelin stars and promises Japanese culinary excellence right beneath Park Elm’s north tower.
“Century Plaza is going to become a landmark of fine dining in Los Angeles,” said David and Josh Foulquier, Chef Nozomu Abe’s business partners and co-founders of We All Gotta Eat Group. “We are proud to be a part of this endeavor and look forward to making our mark on L.A.’s vibrant Japanese dining scene.”
