Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka set a neighborhood record with the sale of their historic 8,000-square-foot home for $6.99 million. Located at 2036 Fifth Avenue in Harlem, the five-story home is just as chic as you would expect from the A-listers.

Built in 1908, the Italian-ate style home has plenty of historic charm (think original molding and millwork as well as massive ceiling heights). The storied building has had many lives over the years, including serving as a bed-and-breakfast, speakeasy for millworkers and music schools for girls.
All four bedrooms, the library/den, four full baths and two half-baths are outfitted with luxurious finishes thanks to a renovation overseen by L.A.–based interior designer Trace Lehnhoff in collaboration with New York architect Jeffery Povero. The home was listed with Vickey Barron and Pacey Barron of Compass.
