The Los Angeles area is full of elegant and enchanting hotels that are photo-ready. Here are six hotels ready for your next Instagram post.
The recently restored art deco hotel is picture-perfect. There’s a gorgeously illuminated plaster sculpture called “The Mayfair Flower” above the lobby’s M bar just begging to be your next post on your Insta. Around the corner from the flower sculpture is a display of the periodic table of drugs in the Mayfair’s alluring Library Bar. The display, by artist Daniel Allen Cohen, is perfect for a pose next to it in your sexiest pair of eyeglasses holding your favorite cocktail. 1256 W. 5th St., Los Angeles, 213-632-1200
The rooftop pool of the Ace Hotel is perfect for ‘gramming the LA sunset. Indoors, Segovia Hall has beautiful natural light (no filters needed!) and plenty of old Hollywood mystique. The stateroom has lush red curtains that are lavish and opulent. The architecture of the front façade of the hotel is breathtaking, harkening back to old Hollywood and the hotel’s rich history. 929 S. Broadway, Los Angeles, 213-623-3233
The haunt of Hollywood stars for decades, The Beverly Hills Hotel’s iconic sign beckons to be the start of an Instagram story. Head into the hotel for the epitome of glamour in the grand lobby (after walking their “red carpet” before you enter). The Crystal Ballroom’s glitzy Art Deco space has photo-ready rose chandeliers and French doors overlooking the hotel’s Crystal Garden. 9641 Sunset Boulevard, Beverly Hills, 310-276-2251
The exterior of the Millennium Biltmore has an archway and columns that are spectacularly photogenic. Enter the luxury hotel and snap a photo from one end of the “galeria” as the ornate gold walls seem to go on forever. Step into the center of the “galeria,” gaze upwards and don’t forget a picture of the ceiling fresco too—its symmetry and sheer beauty make it easy for amateurs and pro photographers alike. 506 S. Grand Ave., Los Angeles, 213-624-1011
The Line LA recently installed a series of floating abstract art pieces that will hang in the hotel’s lobby. The Line partnered with the collaborative studio of artists Terri Chiao and Adam Frezza (aka Chiaozza). Also Insta-worthy at The Line is the Openaire restaurant, a poolside restaurant that resembles the inside of the greenhouse. The gorgeous greenery and natural light make for amazing snapshots. 3515 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, 213-381-7411
The Montage Beverly Hills is located within the Golden Triangle near the posh Rodeo Drive. The Grand Staircase is by far the crown jewel of the hotel, its winding gold and wrought iron making for a magnificent picture. The photography options for the Montage at night are simply stunning, from the hotel’s exterior to the glowing fountain in their Beverly Canon Gardens. 225 North Canon Drive, Beverly Hills, 855-691-1162
