Minotti celebrates the big 7-0... Hollywood-style.
Prince Cord chair and ottoman, $11,622 for both, Boden side table, $9,146, and Alexander sectional, from $40,000.
For 70 years, the Minotti clan has put Milanese furniture on the design-world map. Founder Alberto Minotti built the company as Italy rebuilt itself after WWII; his sons, Renato and Roberto, balanced the high-tech manufacturing solutions of the late 20th century with the firm’s handcrafted tradition; and grandchildren Alessio, Alessandro and Susanna march at the forefront of a digital and multicultural market today. Minotti’s platinum anniversary this year is marked with a documentary film and numerous collabs with globalworthy designers, including Nendo, Marcio Kogan and Christophe Delcourt. Here in LA, Minotti is celebrating with its own version of H’wood flair. The showroom’s president, Mary Ta, chose the legendary Sheats-Goldstein residence for the brand’s over-the-top party. Says Ta: “This iconic, modernist house is the perfect setting for Minotti’s contemporary spirit and its inspiring heritage.” Cin cin! 8936 Beverly Blvd., minotti-la.com
