Luke Combs kicks off an exciting month of music this weekend at Sofi Stadium. If you plan on attending the Sofi Stadium run of the Growin' Up and Gettin' Old Tour, read on for everything you need to know about attending.
Combs will play for two nights in Los Angeles for the Growin' Up and Gettin' Old Tour. Doors open both nights at 5 p.m. with the event officially starting at 5:45 p.m. For the Friday show, the parking lots open at 2:45 p.m. (No tailgating in parking lots allowed!) and the opening lineup includes The Avett Brothers, Charles Wesley Goodwin, Hailey Whitters and The Wilder Blue. Meanwhile, parking lots open at 2 p.m. for the Saturday show and while personal tailgate parties aren’t allowed, there will be an official tailgate party presented by Jack Daniel’s for ticketholders starting at 3 p.m. The afternoon event will feature early merch access, food and beverage vendors and music by The Castellows and Ty Gregory. Then, the Sofi stage will be warmed up for Combs by Jordan Davis, Mitchell Tenpenny, Drew Parker and Colby Acuff.
Like most L.A. arenas and stadiums, Sofi enforces a clear bag policy. So whether you opt for a see-through tote, backpack or purse or Ziplock, be sure that it’s not bigger than 12” x 6” x 12.” You can also choose to keep your belongings in a small, non-clear clutch if it’s 4” x 6” or smaller.
If you drive and plan to park at the stadium, you must buy a parking pass in advance. Additionally, be sure to do it before the day of the event because ticket prices increase on concert day. You can opt for on-site or nearby lots. If you decide to use a rideshare service like Alto or Uber, be sure to head to the designated drop-off and pick-up locations. When arriving at the stadium, you’ll want to head to the northbound curb lane on Kareem Court, while pick-up is at Kareem Court and Manchester Boulevard. And if you prefer public transit, take the Metro C line to the Hawthorne/Lennox station.
As a new stadium, you can bet that Sofi has great food options You’ll find various concession stands around the venue that are each inspired by different areas of Los Angeles with stand-outs items like birria nachos, chicken tenders and extravagant margaritas. Alternatively, you can eat on your way to the stadium with a pitstop at a nearby restaurant, such as JW Steakhouse and Calo Kitchen. See our full list of nearby recommended restaurants.
This tour is in support of Combs’ most recent album, Gettin’ Old, which followed up 2022’s Growin’ Up. You can expect plenty of songs from both like “Where the Wild Things Are”, “Doin’ This” and “Going, Going, Gone”, alongside other fan favorites like his cover of “Fast Car” and “She Got the Best of Me.” All in all, the show should run about 30 songs over the course of two hours. Based on previous tour stops, Combs should hit the stage around 9 p.m.
Sofi Stadium is located at 1001 S. Stadium Dr 90301.
