Love, actually, is all around.
Love Actually is, hands down, one of the greatest holiday time movies. The romance and drama and magic of early aughts London is something you can’t compete with, well, until now.
As we know, “Love Actually Live” is returning to the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts from Nov. 27 to Dec 31. Each performance is sure to be a fantastic night of nostalgia and Christmas cheer, but why not elevate the experience for a truly special night?
Leave it all to L’Ermitage Beverly Hills. Whether opting for a festive overnight package or reveling in showstopping holiday decor, hotel guests and theatergoers alike can enjoy the “Love Actually Live” immersive experience from suite to stage.
The “Love Actually Live” package features motifs from the production, including a signed playbill, luxury travel to and from the performance, two mezzanine seats and eggnog truffles from celebrity chef Stephanie Boswell.
If your visit isn’t overnight, you’ll still be enchanted by the transformation of L'Ermitage into a haute winter wonderland. Inspired by the 2003 movie, the space will be decorated with a grand, gold-plated Christmas tree and a bow-wrapped wall. What’s more, guests are welcome to dress the tree with custom locks with the film’s iconic quote: “To me you are perfect.” Who says only Kiera Knightly gets to feel special?
French culinary destination Avec Nous is in on the festivities as well. Before the show, enjoy dinner at the L’Ermitage restaurant and their limited-time holiday-inspired menu with choices like Yorkshire pudding and pigs in a blanket. Seasonal libations complement the entree options, such as the Pine Old Fashioned and the L’Ermitage Eggnog. In addition, those attending matinee performances can join in on a special, English-inspired high tea service of finger sandwiches, gingerbread cookies, scones and more.
“Following a year when many have not been able to spend the holidays with loved ones, we were inspired to create something truly special that can only be unwrapped and experienced at L’Ermitage Beverly Hills,” said Scott Berger, L’Ermitage Beverly Hills’ general manager. “In collaborating with the team at For the Record Live, we are celebrating not just the spirit of the season but also the return of live entertainment and the joy that their best-selling show brings to people during the holidays. To quote the film, ‘Christmas is the time to be with the people you love’ and we look forward to bringing people together to make new holiday memories at L’Ermitage.”
To inquire about the tickets, head to The Wallis’ website. For more information about the “Love Actually Live” package, go to the L'Ermitage website. Make a reservation for high tea or dinner at OpenTable or call Avec Nous at 310-278-3344.
