Louis Vuitton is no stranger to commissioning pop artists to paint its monogrammed handbags.
In the past, these collaborations have featured highly collectible works by Jeff Koons, Yayoi Kusama and Takashi Murakami. But this season, the French house is giving creative license to artistic superstars in the design space with its Objets Nomades collection. Designers such as the Campana brothers, Raw Edges and Marcel Wanders express themselves via futuristic seats; Wanders also shines with a suspended lamp; and India Mahdavi serves up style with a remarkable tray that doubles as a table.
