To mark the start of Emmys weekend, Los Angeles Confidential gathered a star-studded group of friends and this year’s nominees, including guest of honor Julianne Nicholson, who later won an award for her gripping portrayal of Lori Ross in HBO’s hit limited series Mare of Easttown. An exclusive guest list kicked off Emmys weekend with Los Angeles Confidential’s Annual Emmys Celebration presented by Porsche, Baccarat and House of Suntory at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, celebrating September cover star Julianne Nicholson. Nicholson and guests including Laz Alonso (The Boys), Bobby Berk (Queer Eye), Miles Brown (Black-ish), Giancarlo Esposito (Better Call Saul), O.T. Fagbenle (The Handmaid’s Tale), Kevin Alejandro (Lucifer) and more enjoyed made-to-order highball cocktails from House of Suntory and Champagne from Faire La Fête. DJ Benjamin Walker provided the tunes for the evening as guests mingled and captured snaps from the event in front of a custom neon “Driven by Dreams” Porsche photo moment.
