The Altadena Farmer’s Market is open Wednesdays in the fall and winter from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. (spring and summer are slightly later hours). Take a slight road trip and begin a long weekend to the Lancaster Farmer’s Market, open Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Enjoy craft goods, freshly prepared food and local produce. Pears are currently in season as are ripe, juicy blackberries. Enjoy homemade food just like your mom used to make, like delicious tamales. The Pasadena Certified Farmer’s Market at Victory Park is celebrating 33 years of serving the community. The market is open Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Enjoy delicious fruits, veggies and more. Take the whole family to this weekly community event in the center of Old Town Monrovia. Fresh local produce for sale at a traditional farmer’s market is combined with live music and prepared food.
