Influencer Caitlyn Chase on Where to Eat, Stay & Play in LA

By Gary Duff | May 8, 2019 |

It's no secret Caitlyn Chase has long been one of our favorite Los Angeles influencers. So we asked her to share her favorite places to eat, stay and play in the City of Angels.

Where to Eat

"Los Angeles has so many great restaurants, from hole-in-the-wall dives to seen-and-be-seen places. For a casual meal with nice ambiance, I like The Henry (get the harvest bowl), South Beverly Grill (get the Thai steak noodle salad), Cecconi’s (get the ricotta blueberry pancakes) or Mauro Café (get the penne with pink sauce.) For a quick healthy meal, I like Coral Tree Café (their sandwiches are amazing) and La Scala (you cannot not get the classic chopped salad.) For dinners with my friends and family, I usually rotate between Madeo Ristorante (Italian), Nobu Malibu (sushi), Broken Spanish (Mexican) and Gjelina (American).

You can find me enjoying a nice glass of wine at Wally’s virtually any weeknight, as I love their selection and the vibe of the restaurant. In the summer, I like the rooftop at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills (one of the best views of Los Angeles) and sometimes I’ll drive down to Malibu at sunset (where I am from) and indulge in an Aperol Spritz al fresco at Little Beach House Malibu or the Malibu Beach Inn."

Where to Stay

"My favorite place to stay depends on what kind of staycation I am after. If I want to relax and unwind, I’ll check into the Hotel Bel Air, Terranea or Four Seasons Westlake. If I want to party and entertain friends, I go for a hotel with more energy and nightlife like the Chateau Marmont or Beverly Hills Hotel."

Where to Play

"I love hanging out at the rooftop pool at the Petit Ermitage in the summertime. I actually hosted not one but two birthday parties there for my 30th last summer, one was a daytime pool party and then the next night was a sit down dinner on their patio."
