The ultimate confirmation for a celebrity romance is an A-list event red carpet, so naturally Kim Kardashian picked one of the year’s most elite celebrations to officially debut her relationship with Pete Davidson.
The couple attended the White House Correspondents Dinner together on April 30. The buzzy D.C. soiree celebrates members of the White House Correspondents Association and, for the first time in six years, welcomed our sitting president. In addition to President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden, WHCA President Steven Portnoy hosted and Trevor Noah headlined.
“We gather here tonight to honor that work and to celebrate the American freedoms of speech, press, religion, petition and peaceable assembly, without which our democratic constitutional republic could not survive,” Portnoy said during his remarks.
Providing comic relief, Noah, on the other hand, kept things lighter and fired away at journalists and politicians alike. Later, Biden followed up with his own attempts at humor.

Kardashian and Davidson took to the red carpet nearly six months after rumors first began swirling that the two were dating. Following Kardashian’s spot as Saturday Night Live host on Oct. 9, the two were spotted on a Halloween date at Knott’s Scary Farm. The pairing was to much surprise, even after Kardashian and Davidson kissed during an SNL sketch that parodied Disney’s Aladdin.
In typical fashion, Kardashian donned a Balenciaga gown. The sleeveless turtleneck gown dripped in sparkles, so she polished off the look with a pair of simple, but radiant Lorraine Schwartz diamond studs.
Davidson kept things classy in a black-and-white suit with a skinny tie. Not leaning too formal, he finished the look with a pair of black and white Vans.
“White house din din,” the fashion mogul wrote on social media. It was her second post of Davidson on Instagram. The first came earlier this month, on April 11, which featured the couple cozied up at dinner.
“Late nite snack,” she captioned the post.
The reality star’s relationship with the comic follows her split from Kanye West. After six years of marriage, she filed for divorce in February of last year. They share four children: North, Sain, Chicago and Psalm.
