Justin Bieber performs at Homecoming Weekend at the Pacific Design Center on Feb. 11.
After a two-year postponement, Justin Bieber finally kicked off his Justice World Tour last month. The pop star kick-started the year-long, international run by making his way around California. On March 7 and 8, he circled back to Los Angeles for a stint at Crypto.Com Arena for two star-studded nights that reminded everyone in attendance why Bieber is one of the greats.

Bieber made it known that the Los Angeles shows were going to be special on the very first night. During the stripped part of his set, he welcomed Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Leon Bridges to the stage for an acoustic rendition of “River.”

“Intentions” was an earworm standout off Bieber’s 2020 record, Changes. During L.A. night one, Bieber honored the single with a surprise cameo from Quavo, who is featured on the track. It was particularly fun to watch the duo bring the song to life, especially with Bieber in head-to-toe black and Quavo contrasting in a flower-embellished blue sweater.

Between the show’s various segments, house lights would go down before Bieber would make his excitable return for another section of songs. It was a great surprise that at one point, the spotlight flashed on a mop of hair instead of Bieber’s beanie-cladded head to reveal The Kid Laroi. The two had as much fun as ever dancing around the stage to their hit song, “Stay.”

Now not all special guests came on stage. In fact, perhaps the most important one in attendance was watching from the floor. After appeasing die-hard fans with old favorites like “Boyfriend” and “Baby,” Bieber’s two-song encore included “Peaches” and “Anyone.” Before diving into the night’s final song, he dedicated it to wife Hailey Bieber (even though he knew she wouldn’t like the attention). The last performance was a proper final bow out of his home base as he goes on to take the show across the country and around the world.

Like we said, the stage wasn’t the only place for the stars. Both nights saw a number of celebrities reveal their fanship for Bieber, including Hillary Duff, Taylor Lautner, Keke Palmer, Jabari Banks and Will Smith, among others. See more above.
