Celebrating independent filmmaking, the Independent Spirit Awards took place in Santa Monica on March 6 and were hosted by beloved actors and husband-wife duo Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally.
The Lost Daughter stood out during the ceremony and earned the big award of the evening, Best Feature, and certified Maggie Gyllenhaal’s directorial debut a success with her win Best Director Win. From the TV side, Reservation Dogs was honored as the Best Ensemble Cast in a New Scripted Series. The FX show also won for Best New Scripted Series.
