The big winners of the Grammy Awards don’t just go home with mini golden gramophones. They also deliver the best fashion moments, even if it means the win is just in spirit. From Balmain to Valentino, music’s biggest stars pulled out the big ropes. See the 2022 Grammy’s best dressed below.

Go big, go Balmain. That’s the saying, right? It is, at least according to Lil Nas X. The Gen Z icon stunned in a white pearl and sparkle-encrusted jumpsuit from the French maison— complete with colorful, center butterflies. Lil Nas X may not have won any Grammys tonight, but this look makes it feel like he certainly won the red carpet.
It has to be said: Brandi Carlile looks like a boss. And yes, she is wearing none other than a dazzling Hugo Boss suit. The colorful blazer is balanced by a matching stripe down the side of tailored black slacks.
The artist legally known as Michelle Zauner was a welcoming ray of sunshine in Valentino Haute Couture. Delicate as a daisy, Zauner finished the look with pearl hair pins and multi-color Fry Powers jewelry.

Ashley Nicolette Frangipane continually gets robbed of Grammys, so why not steal the show on the red carpet? Under the eye of renowned stylist Law Roach, Halsey embodied the darkness of their nominated album, If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power and threw in a sophisticated twist. With Tiffany’s jewelry to finish off the look, they wore a Pressiat gown, Stuart Weitzman shoes and a vintage Pierre Cardin hat (courtesy of Law Roach’s personal archive).
The teen pop star kept her Bratz-inspired look in action for the Grammys, but with a dash of elegance. By opting for black-and-pink satin Vivienne Westwood full-length dress, Olivia Rodrigo pulled off the ultimate sweet-meets-sour look.
Honoring the ‘70s glam that invigorated her Grammy winning album Daddy’s Home, Annie Clark arrived styled by Avigail Collins in Gucci (right from the Gucci Love Parade collection). The voluminous pale pink gown was completely embroidered with sequins and featured a silk teardrop neckline and a tulle hem and cuffs.
When you arrive at an awards show where you have the most nominees, it is imperative that you bring your fashion A-game, which Jon Batiste did. Ahead of scooping up the night’s biggest win, the singer sizzled in a sparkling black and yellow suit from Dolce & Gabbana.
Lenny Kravitz served old-school rock glam in a sheer, chain link top and leather pants. The excellent ensemble comes courtesy of Church Boutique, which cites Saint Laurent, Anthony Kantor, Modern Vice, Natalia Fedner and Jordan Adoni as part of the look.
Channeling the femininity of her now Grammy-winning single “Kiss Me More,” SZA graced the red carpet in a Jean Paul Gaultier gown that made it seem as though she escaped an enchanting fairy garden. Wrapped in peachy beige tulle, the dress caught all eyes with its blooming floral center.
