Take a completely transparent look into the future.
There is always a wave of excitement when a brand’s creative direction shifts and new ideas come to fruition. Edmundo Castillo, designer of his eponymous company, elegantly stepped into his new role as head of design at Stuart Weitzman last summer, and the inaugural collection of his own full imprint does not disappoint. The core essence of Stuart Weitzman is fused with elements of strong architectural design, nontraditional fabrications and materials that cater to the modern, elegant woman. The introduction of Lucite proves to be the glossy thread that ties the collection together and is featured in boots, sandals and everything in between. “When designing the fall collection, I wanted to reimagine the timeless designs the brand is known for but incorporate innovative new elements,” says Castillo. “We are taking the Stuart Weitzman woman’s shoe wardrobe into the next era.”
