EDC joined the metaverse in 2021.
There’s no party like a desert party, just as EDC has proven for over two decades.
Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas returns to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway from May 20 to 22, bringing half a million festival goers to the Mojave Desert for the largest EDM festival in North America.
With the highly-anticipated festival just around the corner, event producer Insomniac finally revealed the lineup for what will be an unforgettable weekend. Across its eight stages, EDC will welcome 230 artists.
"Bringing together all the different genres and communities from within the dance music scene is what makes EDC so special. The music that we curate for these three days at the Speedway represents the sounds of every Insomniac event that happens throughout the year," said Pasquale Rotella, founder and CEO of Insomniac. "The experience we create will always be inspired by our underground roots and in celebration of dance music culture that we all love so much. All are welcome at EDC Las Vegas."
EDM heavyweights like Kaskade, Zedd, Tiësto and Deadmau5 will set the soundtrack for the weekend, in addition to other favorites like Armin van Buuren, Illenium, Chris Lake, Timmy Trumpet, Boris Brejcha and Eric Prydz.
With all-new sets up their sleeves, Porter Robinson will make a showing as his progressive house meets airy disco project Air2Earth. Meanwhile, David Guetta and Morten will come together as Future Rave.
The lineup also includes a number of notable debuts, such as Grimes, Blossom, James Hype, Deborah de Luca, Anfisa Letyago and Chapter & Verse, among others.
In addition to new artists, returning festival attendees can look forward to new stage designs, roaming art cars and hundreds of costumes characters.

While three-day general admission passes are sold out, the festival still has available general-admission plus options for $559 and VIP tickets for $779. EDC is only for fans 18 and older.
Last fall, EDC joined the metaverse. During its October run, it became the first-ever persistent music festival on global virtual platform Robolox, which allowed fans to join the festival right from home. Even artists were able to join and jump into the metaverse through server hopping meet and greets.
