Dotted with comedy favorites and film novices, Don’t Worry Darling was enough to get everyone buzzing just on the cast announcement alone. The frenzy around the Olivia Wilde-directed film has continued to mutate, and will likely continue until it hits theaters at the end of September. With all eyes to Venice, the star-studded ensemble knew they had to step up for the red carpet, and they sure did deliver. See below for what Florence Pugh, Harry Styles and more wore to the Don’t Worry Darling world premiere.
Despite evading the film’s press conference, the Don’t Worry Darling star said a thousand (glamorous) words in her voluptuous, glitter-printed tulle gown from Valentino The Beginning collection. She elevated the shimmer with Tiffany & Co. jewelry and feather-lined heels.
Chris Pine brought a SoCal-debonair look to the Venice Film Festival red carpet in classic Ray Ban shades and a neutral-colored suit. He paired a crisp brown bow tie and jacket with a white button down and beige slacks.
Continuing his round of Gucci looks for the festival, the leading man of Don’t Worry Darling embodied a ‘70s movie star in large tinted sunglasses, a navy suit and white boots— likely another collab with Alessandro Michele, who also walked the carpet.

The comedian-actor and his wife Lily Kwong were radiant in jewel toned ensembles. Opting for a deep royal blue, Nick Kroll arrived in a dapper Dolce & Gabbana suit.
Continuing her fondness for Louis Vuitton, Gemma Chan paired sleekness with delicacy in a bold column gown adorned with flowers. The gold sequin look was paired with pieces from the Louis Vuitton High Jewelry collection.
Sydney Chandler embraced dark, simple glam in her YSL look. Cuffed by chunky gold and black bangles, she stood tall in a black, single-strapped gown.
Like Styles, the director and star wore Gucci for her film’s big premiere. Alessandro Michele envisioned the daisy yellow custom gown, which Wilde paired with Gucci High Jewelry from the Hortus Deliciarum collection.
Pugh was such a stunner across the festival, we had to include her looks twice. Even in her laidback Valentino set, she was all royalty in the head-to-toe, rich purple ensemble as she arrived at The Lido.
