DedCool Reimagines What Perfume Should Look Like

By Christina Najjar | October 2, 2018 | Style & Beauty

All major industries have gone through major upheavals and upgrades in the past few years. We’re going through a time of change when consumers are demanding more of brands, both in terms of creativity and transparency, and rightly so. Why should perfume be any different?

This is why the ever so thoughtful Carina Chaz saw a gap in the perfume market and knew exactly what needed to fill it. Enter her cult perfume brand, DedCool, dreamt up and born in Los Angeles in 2016. At only 21, founder, Carina created her DedCool line as an extension of her passion for cologne, masculine scents, and green beauty. Fragrance is an essential part of how we identify with ourselves as well as one another, and Carina believed in only creating scents that were composed of the highest quality and of course, all natural ingredients. Believe it or not, this is a pretty novel concept for the perfume industry.

The brand is seriously disrupting the world of fragrance by creating a line that is truly Uni-Sex, Vegan, Cruelty-free, non-toxic scents with a naturally chic edge. DedCool is making its mark in the beauty world, changing the way we view and shop for fragrance.

Her latest collection, DedCool SERIES // 2, is inspired by the idea of free love and the brand ’s truly genderless a to beauty. The newest scents are elevated with a modern 70’s chic dream. All five scents are composed by Carina herself for her to share with others.
