Costume Couture celebrated Halloween on Oct. 31.
Halloween festivities may have been all weekend long, but the most coveted invite perhaps went to Teyana Taylor, Lenny Santiago, and Karrueche’s Costume Couture.
Presented by D’usse, Monogram and, of course, Jay-Z’s Ace of Spades, the star-studded bash took over The Highlight Room in Los Angeles. Atop the ritzy Dream Hotel in the heart of Hollywood, celebrities flocked to the rooftop venue to show off their Halloween best between sips of D’usse cocktails and Ace of Spades champagne. Attendees includes Kim Kardashian West, Drake, Doja Cat, Big Sean, Chloe Bailey, Roddy Ricch, Ty Dolla $ign, Iman Shumpert and LaLa Anthony.
Over the weekend, Kardashian West caused quite the buzz over her trip to SoCal Halloween time favorite Knott’s Scary Farm. At the theme park, she was caught holding hands with Pete Davidson while making the final, splashy descent down the Timber Mountain Log Ride. Setting dating rumors into a frenzy, the Knott’s visit came after the socialite’s successful stint on Saturday Night Live, which included an Aladdin-inspired sketch where she kissed the 27-year-old cast member.
We’d argue Kardashian West’s look for Costume Couture was worth even more hype. Taking Kacey Musgraves’ Golden Hour single, “Space Cowboy,” quite literally, the socialite-entrepreneur arrived as CowBot, as she deemed the look on Instagram. The neo-American Western outfit was the genius of French fashion designer Manfred Thierry Mugler.

Above all, the trio of hosts had arguably the best costumes of the night. Santiago did his best impression of After Hours-era The Weeknd, while Taylor, yes, slayed as a sultry Madam Slay. Karruehe hands down won for colliding glam and creativity as a bottle of Clase Azul Reposado Tequila.
Other standouts included Anthony in a sky-high ponytail as Mortal Kombat assassin Jade. And all respect goes to Doja Cat for digging deep into ‘90s babies nostalgia and dressing up as Rugrats’ Angelica Pickles’ doll, Cynthia. Terrence J followed in suit with his nod to Kel Mitchell and Kenan Thompson’s Good Burger.
