Coachella Weekend One may have been the first to see it, but the Coachella Weekend Two crowd was truly treated with next-level performances from the festival’s biggest stars. From historical returns to final good-byes, we’re looking back at the biggest moments from the final weekend of Coachella 2022.
Baby Keem is fresh off a Grammy win for Best Rap Performance, meaning his spot on the Coachella stage is more than well-earned. Still, the rapper assured everyone in the audience knew the award was a more-than-deserved win when he brought out Kendrick Lamar, who is getting ready to release his highly anticipated fifth album, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, in May. The duo performed “Family Ties” and “Vent.”
It was hard to believe Harry Styles could make his headlining set any better than it already was when he brought out Shania Twain during Weekend One of the festival. With Weekend Two, how could he possibly surprise his fans any more? Enter Lizzo. The popstar joined Styles for a spectacular cover of Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” and One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful.”

Last time J. Balvin made a guest appearance for a live performance of “Mi Gente” was in 2018 during Beyoncé’s infamous headlining set. Four years later, the Colombian star teamed up with Karol G. for another go at the hit song. Between the cameo and her astounding medley of Latin hits, the superstar had one of the best sets of the entire festival.
Back in 2018, Paramore announced the retirement of career-inciting single “Misery Business.” Despite the song’s slut-shaming-laced lyrics, fans were saddened to hear the song would no longer be part of the band’s live shows. So then when Hayley Williams joined Billie Eilish for her headlining set, it made Williams’ guest appearance all the more exciting that the two sang an invigorating, acoustic version of the song. Long live “Misery Business!”

All good things must come to an end. It’s a good phrase to live by, and one the members of Brockhampton have accepted with their band’s dissolution (and they all wore varisty jackets embellished with the mantra both weekends of the festival). The collective put on a high-energy performance and closed their set with “Boogie.”
