Chris Stapleton will bring his All-American Road Show to Los Angeles for two nights. Read on for everything you need to know about attending the concert.
The Basics
Stapleton will hit the Hollywood Bowl stage on June 26 and 27. With gates opening at 5:30 p.m., the show will begin at 7 p.m. with opening acts Grace Potter and Allen Stone.
Arrival
Parking at the Bowl is limited, so be sure to secure a parking pass in advance as soon as possible if you plan to drive. Alternatively, you can take a rideshare service like Uber, Alto or Lyft and be dropped off at Lot C (6655 Odin St 90069). If you prefer the Metro, take the B Line to the Hollywood/Highland Metro Station and then get on the free Bowl shuttle at Ovation Hollywood. Whatever method you choose, the Hollywood Bowl recommends arriving 90 minutes before performances start.
Bag Policy
While you can bring in a mini feast in a bag sized up to 15” x 15” x 22” (no need to be clear), be sure to leave any alcohol at home. Stapleton’s show isn’t an LA Philharmonic event, so you’ll have to leave those bottles of wine at home and instead buy one inside the venue. However, sealed water bottles are allowed.
Where To Eat
If you choose to bring a picnic, you can enjoy your food at a number of benches found around the outside of and inside the amphitheater or at your seats. You can also leave the cooler bag at home and relish in the culinary genius of Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne, who helm the Bowl food and beverage program. Consider an order of the fried chicken. Finally, you can also cushion your arrival with enough time to eat at a nearby restaurant like The Den on Sunset or Katsuya. See our full list of recommended pre-show restaurants.
What To Expect
With two opening acts, Stapleton will likely begin his set around 9 p.m. The country star is known to throw in a number of covers, so the performance could last anywhere from 18 to 25 songs. Regardless, fans will be pleased by the selection of his own hits and favorites like “Outlaw State of Mind, “Nobody to Blame” and “You Should Probably Leave.”
The Hollywood Bowl is located at 2301 N Highland Ave 90068.
