Fresh off a stellar showing at the American Music Awards, BTS took another victory lap in Los Angeles with their four nights at Sofi Stadium.
Running Nov. 27-28 and Dec. 1-2, BTS Permission to Dance brought Army and the iconic pop group together for the first time since their 2019 world tour, Love Yourself: Speak Yourself.
Though Inglewood’s new stadium has featured a number of artists in its inaugural year, it feels as if the K-pop megastars truly christened the unprecedented complex. BTS filled the 70,000-seat venue with adoring fans who were treated to an entertainment spectacular of music, lights, special guests and community. The setlist came out to a whopping 24 songs with a bit of change up each night. However, each show sealed the evening with “Permission to Dance” in tribute to the set of show’s name.

Any artist is nothing without their fans and BTS has some of the most passionate (and powerful) out there. Did we mention they’re pretty stylish too? Ready for a night of dancing and singing along, Army showed out in their concert best to take in a night of their favorite songs.
BTS was clearly the hottest ticket in town and, probably just behind Harry Styles, was the hottest ticket of the year. Fans packed the stadium, and among them were familiar, big-name faces like Anderson Paak and Lizzo. The “Truth Hurts” singer was recently spotted at Styles’ show with BTS, so it's no surprise she came out to also support the K-pop superstars. Shout out to her for giving us some sweet concert content for those of us stuck at home.

When our queen H-Town hottie had to pull out of her scheduled performance with BTS at the American Music Awards to finally perform “Butter” remix, we were pretty bummed. At the Nov. 28 show, Megan more than made up for it when she and BTS surprised the audience with the live premiere of the hit song’s remix.
So Megan Thee Stallion may not have made it to the AMAs, but Coldplay did. The British band came together with BTS to grace the AMA audience with their collab on “My Universe,” and so fans were itching to also see the song live. This wish came true at Sofi on Dec. 2. Chris Martin appeared for the 4-night run’s big finale to sing with the group.
Though the Grammy-nominated artist has collaborated with BTS a number of times, Halsey attended just as a fan. However, when it came time to perform “Boy With Love,” the pop star had a cute moment with the band, as seen below. We also got to see the sweetest backstage moment of Halsey and BTS later on Instagram. “Uncle gang,” they deemed the boys, referring to their new baby, Ender.
