Ready a White Russian and put on your bathrobe for this Coen Brothers classic. It’s a case of mistaken identity when debt collectors rough up and pee on the rug of Jeff “The Dude” Lebowski (Jeff Bridges). In need of reparations, he sets out to find The Big Lebowski, who will pay him back only after he finds his kidnapped wife.

Getting late-night munchies shouldn’t be so hard, right? Well, before we had Postmates, you literally had to make the trek yourself, leaving plenty of space for shenanigans and mishaps. Take Harold and Kumar. The two friends become so enticed by a commercial for White Castle, they must set out to get some sliders. However, the quick fast food trip quickly goes haywire and spins out into a chaotic odyssey throughout New Jersey.

This isn’t your grandfather’s stoner comedy. Narrated by Slow Burn (a glorious talking joint voiced by Mystikal), the lives of nerdy Devin (Wiz Khalifa) and burnout student Mac (Snoop Dogg) collide right as graduation date looms nearer and nearer. Devin is having trouble writing his valedictorian speech, while Mac is in his 15th year of school. To help Devin relax and take in his final moments as a high schooler, Mac introduces him to cannabis.

Come for Matthew McConaughey’s debut, stay for the excellent soundtrack. It’s the last day of high school in 1976 Austin, Texas and the teens are just trying to find their place in the world. Rising senior Randall “Pink” Floyd contemplates another year as the star quarterback, incoming freshmen do their best to avoid being hazed by the seniors and everyone else is looking for the way to the keg party.

It was essential that we include Seth Rogen on this list! Catch him as stoner Dale Denton as he and dealer Saul Silver (James Franco) get caught up in possibly fatal shenanigans, all thanks to a special new, rare strain of weed called Pineapple Express.
Watch: Netflix
This one is for the girls. An endearing coming-of-age story, Dude follows a close-knit group of four best friends who deal with heartbreak, loss and life changes during the crucial final two weeks of high school. The Netflix movie may lean a little heavy on the drama side of dramedy, but you’ll want to queue it up right away with a cast that includes Lucy Hale, Awkwafina, Alexandra Shipp and Kathryn Prescott.
