The Tony Awards finally returned for a commemoration of Broadway that honored not only the best of the 2019-2020 season, but celebrated its heart and spirit. Moulin Rouge! The Musical and The Inheritance took home the night’s big awards, with also a decent showing by Jagged Little Pill. But before awards were underway, the industry’s top talent hit the red carpet for a stellar turn out of bountiful gowns, crisp suits and eye-catching ensembles. See 10 of the best looks below.
Nicolette Robinson graced the Tony Awards red carpet in a beige, tulle-layered gown from Christian Siriano.
Myra Lucretia Taylor stunned on the red carpet in a bold fuschia coat with structured, billowy sleeves over a black gown with a jewel-encrusted center. The Tina star was nominated for best performance by a featured actress in a musical.

Perhaps pink tones were the color of the night. The Pose actor arrived at the Tonys in a monochromatic Louis Vuitton ensemble over a pink turtleneck and pulled together with a soft, cinched belt.
Before slipping into the David Byrne-famous gray suit for a special performance by American Utopia, Jacquelene Acevedo walked the Tonys red carpet in a strapless black gown embellished with sparkling, delicate butterflies from Rani Zakhem.
Arriving with 12 nominations for his critically-acclaimed Slave Play, Jeremy O. Harris was sleek and chic in his black-on-black custome Schiaprelli ensemble polished off with gold jewelry and gold-plated platform boots.

Dapper as always, Leslie Odom Jr. hit the red carpet before assuming host duties for the Tony Award’s Broadway celebration. The inverse of the traditional black-and-white tux, Odom’s white Celine suit was accented by a black tie, lapel, shoes and ring.
Making one of the best cases for side cut outs yet, Patina Miller wore a black satin Markarian gown outlined by sparkling embellishments. She completed the look with jewelry from Brion Raymond New York.
The Jagged Little Pill star was a vision in red wearing Derek Lam 10 Crosby. The look was sealed by the perfect accessories: a sparkling clutch and a red lip.
Daphne Rubin-Vega exuded elegance in a satin column gown and sleek updo that showed off dripping blue earrings.
Carolina Herrera sure knows a thing or two about tulle and volume, as demonstrated by Zawe Ashton on the Tonys red carpet.
