The Emmys may have been worth tuning in to find out who won, but this year’s red carpet fashion also gave plenty of reason to watch. See below for the best dressed stars of the night.
Selena Gomez may not have scooped up an Emmy this year, but we think she won the night for her custom Ralph Lauren gown. Encased in glamorous black velvet, she sparkled in Tiffany & Co. jewelry and a hand-embellished halter neckline with more than 600 diamond-cut crystals.
The best actress in a drama series winner took on TV’s biggest night in a custom red strapless silk faille mermaid gown by Vera Wang. Proving haute couture is best paired with a trophy, the Shogun star also accessorized with Cartier jewelry and Jimmy Choo shoes.
The Saturday Night Live alum may have a reputation for churning laughs, but Kristen Wiig has also fostered a history of head-turning looks on the red carpet. A presenter for the ceremony, she wore a pale mint woven tweed gown from Oscar de la Renta’s spring 2025 collection. Her look captures 600 hours of hand embroidery work.
Nominated for best supporting actress in a limited series for her performance in Baby Reindeer, Nava Mau wowed in a custom Gigi Goode piece reminiscent of a hibiscus. The actress paired the gown with sparkling stilettos and gold accessories.
As the presenter for the final award of the evening, Catherine O’Hara also enlisted the elegant genius of Oscar de la Renta. The Schitt’s Creek and Beetlejuice star glowed in the crystallized rose gown, which she paired with Louboutin shoes, Jared atelier diamonds and a Judith Leiber clutch.
The Fellow Travelers star was dapper in a plum bespoke evening jacket and shirt. Elevated by a cinched cumberbund, the custom Brioni look was sealed by patent leather loafers and an Omega watch.
Another prime example of the power of dressing in vibrant colors, Allison Janney donned a velvet core gown with agni orange shell from Gaurav Gupta’s spring-summer collection for Paris Couture Week 2024. The look featured a glimmer of sparkle thanks to Fiametta’s diamond Duality Neclace.
Is tenniscore for the red carpet, too? Da’Vine Joy Randolph was radiant in a tennis ball-yellow hooded Sophie Couture gown and a Bulgari necklace.
The It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star proved the posh fun of menswear. Throwing a dash of starry pins on his lapel, Rob McElhenney wore an impeccably tailored powder blue suit and black bowtie.
The Reservation Dogs star, writer and producer was stylish in an ACT N°1 look that married a chic white suit with plentiful tulle. Alongside blunt bangs, a long braid and an Artists4ceasefire pin, she added some shine with sparkling earrings.
Nominated for her performance in The Morning Show, the TV starlet also entrusted Oscar de la Renta. The crystal embellishment of the spring 2025 pearl-embroidered scallop column gown was expertly matched with Tiffany & Co. archival earrings and bracelet.
