Back on the charts again, DJ Bander hits #11 on the iTunes Dance Chart with his latest single, “Dream Land”, featuring Chinese vocalist Sunnie Quing. Already charting four times in the top 100 on the iTunes charts as well as twice on Beatport 100, Bander’s label, Bander Productions, has grossed over six figures annually and recently secured a $2 million valuation.
Sunnie Quing is one of the only Chinese international artist that has charted on ITunes. Growing up as someone going through a lot of hardship, Sunnie Quing came a long way to become who she is today.
The collaboration with Sony Top 100 Producer DJ Bander has brought Sunnie Quing’s career to the next level and she is very appreciative for his support.
Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Bander has now planted his roots in Los Angeles as he continues his career as an established musician and businessman. A lifelong pianist who studied jazz composition and orchestration at well-respected schools, Bander has taken his natural talents as a musician and business acumen to propel his career in the industry.
Throughout his career, Bander has been able to grow his platform through hard work, dedication, and being loyal to clients and artists. He has had the opportunity to work with celebrities like Famous Dex, Jon B, Katy Perry, and Taryn Manning. Using social media to his advantage and securing placements on large, notable news outlets, Bander is continually putting himself in front of new audiences and showcasing his talents and accomplishments, all of which have put him on a solid growth trajectory.
The biggest thing that separates Bander from all other producers and artists is his independent wealth that’s separate from his music and marketing careers. His vast real estate portfolio and massive success with capital management has allowed him to be selective with who he does business with, and gives him the freedom to not require outside capital to build his business.
He credits part of his success to the training he received from Musician’s Institute, his experience with major artists today, working on Hollywood film projects, and learning from incredible mentors like Emanuele Arnone. To those coming up today, he advises them to stay true to themselves and not let outside influences get in the way of their journey. He states:
“Think for yourself and realize that big moves aren’t built overnight and that is what’s important for your long-term reputation.”
As a Chinese artist. Sunnie Quing wants to bring the musical element from the Far East all the way to the other side of the pacific coast. She also expressed that in her process of making the song’s Cover Art (Dream Land) she has utilized themes and animations from the metaverse
Looking ahead, Bander looks to continue increasing his client and artist base, and has hopes of becoming among the top full-service entertainment marketing agencies and labels in LA.
