| March 26, 2022 | Awards,

For the second year in a row, the Oscar-qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival teamed up with LA-based celebrity photographer Michael Bezjian for an exclusive photoshoot featuring the 2022 Academy Award Nominated Shorts Filmmakers who qualified for the Oscars at the Festival.

The shoot took place at Bezjian’s The Artist Project studio. The project provides press photo sessions for celebrities and donates funds to charitable causes. Funds raised from the project will be donated to UNICEF to support their efforts to scale up life-saving support for children and their families affected by the War in Ukraine.

The theme was for the filmmakers to wear what they feel most represents them and their work, the image they want to convey to the world in this challenging time with the globe watching, simple and timeless. The portraits featured an art piece created by artist Toby Lee Jones.
